Here's a strong, positive ad from Rep. Mike Honda (CA-17).

I was told that I didn't belong, seen not for my potential but for my differences. We need to be the change that we desire. That's how we move forward. It's a great meshing of Honda's personal backstory along with his track record for the district in California's Silicon Valley. His rival, fellow Democrat Ro Khanna, (California has a jungle primary, so both Democrats advanced) as been trying to run as the darling of the tech sector, and in fact won the endorsement of the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce PAC. He's been praised by them as "right-of-center" in his run against Honda, based on the premise that Honda is "old and orthodox." So this is a particularly good ad for reminding the Silicon Valley what their representative has accomplished for them.Access to transportation, job creation, stronger schools, investing in our future. Because what unites us is more powerful than anything that can divide us.
Honda easily bested Khanna in the primary, 49-27, so having high-tech bigwigs in his camp hasn't done much for Khanna, so far, anyway. That's the last, best polling in the race. But Khanna has a some very, very deep pockets on his side from very wealthy people who want lower taxes, less regulation, an expansion of visa programs that help the industry, protection of their record profits, and keeping worker pay down.
