We burrow deep into the data, collecting and calculating election results, census stats, fundraising numbers, and much, much more—critical information you won't find anywhere else. That includes things like our real-time congressional retirement tracker, which showed that Republicans were headed for the hills in record numbers last year—and prophesied 2018's blue wave. We're keeping close tabs once again this cycle, and guess what? We're seeing the same thing. Just have a look at all that red on the map above (which, by the way, is our own creation).
It's a lot of work, but we do it because we love it, and because it's so important. And we bring it to you all for free. But it does cost us money.
